Unable to upload images after install - white browser window

After installing vbgallery with default vbulletin 3.8r2 I seem to be having problems uploading images. The integration seems to work, clicking on the gallery link takes me to the gallery and the user remains logged in ( Thanks for the help with that, initially a non-default style was causing problems with this ).

When I use either my admin user or the single test user I created to attempt to upload an image ( 50 - 250k ), then click submit, the browser screen goes white and does not update further. If I check the gallery's files subfolder via ftp, the files do appear to be uploaded. However they don't seem to register in the gallery.

After looking at other similar posts, I saw that this could be a memory issue, but I'm thinking that may be unlikely seeing as I'm only uploading small files and the files are arriving on the server. As I'm using vbulletin, I don't seem to have a pp-inc.php file, or I'd make the suggested changes just in case.

I also tried deleting the subfolders and files from the files directory on the server ( from another post ) then attempting to upload again, but this didn't seem to help.

I've also reinstalled vbgallery, just in case but not had any change in the behavior.

Gallery url is - <webserver url here>/gallery
Files url is - <webserver url here>/gallery/files

Any ideas?

I have seen this a few times when the image processor GD2 or Image Magik is not configured correctly or not installed.

AdminCP => vBGallery => Modify Settings
- Uploading Options
-- Resize Program

If Image Magik,
- Add Resize Program Path
-- If a windows web host include backslash EX: "c:\imagemagik\"

I have also seen a white page on upload if the /files/ folder is not permissioned correctly. CHMOD 777. Some servers may have problems if so use 755.

Thanks for the help. You're quite right, I hadn't set that correctly. I'm now able to upload so that was definitely the problem!
