Unexpected T_STRING error on install

Hello guys,

I get this strange error when trying to install vbGallery. Any ideas why?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in path_to_forum/forums/admincp/vbgallery_install.php on line 15

If line 15 is commented then another similar error popup from another file and so on.

Server is running on:
PHP Version 5.2.2
Mysql 5.0.24a

Safe mode is off.

I understand you are providing technical support only in these forums. Is anyone reviewing the issues around? I can't say that are a lot of requests so I guess it's just no one to take care of customer support?

There should not be a problem to install.
- Have you tryed to re-upload / replace all the files from the package ?

Yes. Several times. Even deleting the existing ones by hand. Then reuploading. Same thing.
