| User posts do not increment during admin upload
I'm having some trouble figuring out how to get a user's post count to increment properly.
I run a vBulletin and have the users post count is set to increase for every image they post to the gallery. ( Yes I do have "Photo uploads increment user post count?" set to "YES" ) If a user uploads an image it seems to increment just fine, but when I (the admin) upload an image as a user, their post count does not increment!
This is serious a problem, because I will be uploading and deleting posts for members from time to time, and their post counts wont increase if I upload for them, but they will have posts subtracted every time I delete an image for them.
How do I can an accurate increment EVERY time an image is uploaded by or for a a user?

Can someone else at least tell me if they experience this problem? The reason I ask is I'm not sure if this is a malfunction or just something the coders forgot to implement.
Maybe an admin could do me a favor and try to upload an image for a user on their own site and see if it increments their post count. It would of course need to be a gallery where the photo upload incremement is set to "yes"

I willl take a look.
The way the counts are stored is being moved to another location in the next version.
It does keep track of user uploads, I'll look @ the "admin upload as a user" option.
There is a tool to re-sync counters once a fix is found.

Thanks a bunch Zachariah, much appreciated.
I've tried all kinds of ways and can say it's clear there is no increment for an admin uploading for a user, which is a clear problem with software. I'd like to be able to upload groups of files for users and have this reflect in their postcount which isn't happening. This should be something the photopost team is rushing to fix, so any assistance from is greatly appreciated.

Ok I tryed this out.
- upload.php
- select a file, upload as a user - "username".
- this will update the users imagecount.

If you have uploads set to increment postcount then it should indeed increment the users postcount. ESPECIALLY since the users postcount goes down by one each time a users photo is deleted by an admin.

What version of vBGallery are you running ?
- as of 2.0 for VB3.6x and 1.1 for VB3.5 this was removed form the gallery.
Counts were moved to their own field in the user table pppcount, ppicount.
Now in 2.4.3 for VB3.7 there is a "ppgal_user" table that stores that info.
- plan to mank a VB3.6x update soon.
