Please help. I have searched for days, and spent countless hours trying to figure out where the problem lies.

Basically, I have two problems.

Firstly, our forums got hacked, I had to upload vbulletin 3.6.4 do a complete 'upgrade' process and restore the old database.

That went well..... however the gallery I had previously the older version vbagallery? was malfunctioning.

I downloaded the current version 2.4.2 and upgraded.

My first problem is, when viewing a members profile page I get the following errors :

My Second problem is : After the hack, I had to reinstall the galleryscript. All my images are physically on my FTP space, in the folders they were saved in the previous version of the script.

They are not showing in my current gallery, and I can't see a tool for scanning the folders and re-adding those images?

All help is kindly appreciated.

Sir there is a few things you can do.

1) restore the gallery tables from a backup DB.
All " ppgal_xxxxxxxxxx " Tables and their Data. Perhaps even the old hacked database if you saved it, can help recover up-to-date records.

2) I have some code that will scan your images on the server, but it will take time to clean up the mess.

The gallery is disabled
There may be a hack in the profile that is still trying to access the gallery.

You can take a look in your Products / Plug-Ins for gallery hacks that are in the profile area. Disable until the gallery is back up.

I will try that code, and see what happens.

I don't think there are any 'ppgal_' tables in my old database

I temporarily disabled the gallery so that people wouldn't post new images and totally mess up the transfer.

There are no gallery products listed .... and anything that was listed, I tried disabling, and still no good! I'm wondering if any of the templates had custom code in ...? I tried reverting the memberinfo code ... but that reverted to an old 2006 file.

Will try these things later, and post back again.

Ok you had adv_gallery_*.* tables.
- The data can still be extracted if you have it up or in a backup.
- There were database changes but with a little work it can be restored - images, comments, image ratings

The more data from the database that be extracted the less re-build, redo, loss of data.
