Need help - install problem - adminfunctions_template.php

I'm having a problem installing PP VBGallery on my site.

I have uploaded all of the files correctly from what I understand. All text files were uploaded in ASCII and all media files were uploaded in Binary.

Unfortunately, once I start the install, the page goes blank, and I get this error:

Quote:

Warning: Unknown(/homepages/46/d231939782/htdocs/hockeyprimetime/forum/includes/vbgallery/template_groups.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /includes/adminfunctions_template.php(3692) : eval()'d code on line 4

Fatal error: (null)() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/homepages/46/d231939782/htdocs/hockeyprimetime/forum/includes/vbgallery/template_groups.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /homepages/46/d231939782/htdocs/hockeyprimetime/forum/includes/adminfunctions_template.php(3692) : eval()'d code on line 4
The forum is then useless and I can't access anything.

I was able to find this thread (http://www.photopost.com/forum/installs-upgrade-vbulletin-3-6x/133856-installation-error.html) which gave me some clues as to how to fix it. I added "define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);" to "config.php" in the includes folder which allowed my forum to work again. I went into VBGallery - Modify settings and entered all of the url and path info. But it didn't seem to correct the problem once I removed "define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);". So I decided to uninstall to get my forum back.

Can anyone help and let me know what I can do to get this working?

Thanks

Does this help?

I'm not sure really. I saw that post in my search yesterday but didn't see how it helped.

I have all the files in the forums folder uploaded to their respective folders. As for the gallery folder, I renamed this folder to "hpt-photos" and uploaded this to my site root, NOT the forum folder because I wanted the gallery to come off of the root domain: (www.hockeyprimetime.com/hpt-photos) NOT (www.hockeyprimetime.com/forum/hpt-photos)

I don't see how this is causing the problem because on my first install, I had everything uploaded correctly to the forums folder and it still wouldn't work.

Is there something I'm missing in this install? I have VB 3.6

Well I do beleive the gallery folder has to be called gallery with vbgallery since the install will look for gallery and this might be your issue the renaming.

You might be able to rename things after you install it in the gallery modify settings option.

I already tried the install with gallery named gallery and in the forum folder, but I had the same problem. I am going to upload everything again as it states in the instructions without renaming.

Also, is there a reason that the installation instructions leave out files? I notice that there are several files that came in the package that the instructions don't tell you to upload. (cron/gallery_stats.php and cron/gallery_totals.php) are two examples of this. Also it doesn't tell you to upload (product-ppvbgallery.xml) which I found on on the forum that I had to upload.

Should everything in the forum folder be uploaded?

You should upload everything in the forums folder to your vb install and you should upload the gallery folder everything and edit the config file as noted and in your vbulletin admincp run vbgallery_install.php

WOHOO! I answered my own question. I have to upload EVERYTHING! I guess following the instructions too closely was my problem...go figure. Why don't the instructions list EVERYTHING that should be uploaded?

Last thing, I want to make sure I am filling out the URL and path info correctly.

What should these folders be listed as?

Files URL
FTP User Folder Path
FTP User Folder URL
