Red X after upload image, but thumbnail is generated
When I upload an image, it completes, but it only has the thumbnail.

The large image is not there, and displays a Red X from Internet Explorer

what should i look for?

and I've previously had it working on same server on vbGallery 2.1.x

seems to have happened after upgrading to 2.4.x
