2.1 Error during upload

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: build_gallery_stats() in /home/mysite/public_html/thesite/forum/includes/functions_gallery_imageedit.php on line 294

image gets added to the gallery along with thumbnail but every time you upload, it takes you to a white page with that error. I have 2.1
Would 2.4 solve this problem?

Ok, build_gallery_stats did not start till v2.2.
- /forums/includes/functions_gallery.php
- line 2245

I would re-upload your last gallery package files.
(perhaps some were not updated)

Also re-run the gallery installer file and select upgrade. This should also make any database changes.
