| After Import - Usernames do not match - Please Help
Hey all,
I recently upgraded from Photopost Pro to vBGallery.
I ran the import and everything worked really well.
I then ran the "update usernames" in maintenance, and now many of the members albums don't match up to the actual member, they've matched up to different members.
Can anyone offer any help, advice or assistance on this one please?
We had quite a lot of members and galleries, and they're a little unhappy.

At very least, if there isn't an idea for repairing this, if anyone could tell me how to manually override the link between a members gallery and a members userid I will manually link them up,
Thanks in advance.

Were any userIDs of users change ?
- Import from 1 gallery to another should not remap images to different users.
Have you ever had to import your vBulletin forum user base from another forum or perhaps another version of vBulletin using a tool called Impex on your installation ?

Yeah Impex was used also to convert from IPB "back" to vB.

Can anyone offer advice based on the above?
Happy to pay for this to be fixed, if it's even possible.

More than likely the import utility did not look for new "importuserid" field in vBulletin user table during import. The script may have to be edited to reflect. Quote: Altering tables
ImpEx will now Alter the tables in the vB database to include import id numbers. This is needed during the import process for maintaining references between the tables during an import. They will also be left after the import if you need to link back to the original vB userid.
| I am thinking that the script should be fixed before running vs. repair the import.

Working on it , sorry for the delay.
- I had a gallery database get wiped. (3500 images added since last backup)
- I have been restoring the database info from all the file that were on the server.
I was able to restore the files into the database in a "Temp" category and in the name of the user who uploaded them.
- Now just working on mass move tools based on search string in the title.

At very least, is there anything I can do right now to fix the new uploads. Members are still uploading and they go directly into another members gallery.
