| upgrade problem
i uploaded the 3 files in the readme
/forums/includes/functions_gallery_imageedit.php
/forums/admincp/vbgallery_install.php
/forums/admincp/product-ppvbgallery.xml
Run the install script from your browser by going to: http://www.mixhard.ca/forum/admincp/...ry_install.php
i choose upgrade, and click continue to get to a photopost page with nothing on it.
see attachment.
I recently migrated servers, could this be a CHMOD setting preventing the script from running?

That was security update from 2.4.1-2.4.2. I missed adding upgrade from other versions. (paste below)
This is a security update to prevent script file upload exploits. Please read the security bulletin for more information about this issue.
This version of vBGallery has been tested on:
* vBulletin® Version 3.6.8
* vBulletin® Version 3.7.0 Beta 3 File Changes
Upload the new PhotoPost vBGallery files to the directories listed below.
root/forum/admincp - vbgallery_install.php
- product-ppvbgallery.xml
root/forum/includes - functions_gallery_imageedit.php
Upgrade vBGallery 2.4.1 - 2.4.2
Upload: - /forums/includes/functions_gallery_imageedit.php
- /forums/admincp/vbgallery_install.php
- /forums/admincp/product-ppvbgallery.xml
Skip down to "[all versions of upgrade]" vBGallery 1.0 - 2.4.0
Please upload and replace all files on your web server.
In the script folder there are 2 folders.
- forums (upload to vBulletin root)
- gallery
The content of the forums folder is uploaded to the root of your vBulletin install. The file structure of the upload will coincide with the vBulletin folder layout.
The gallery folder must also stay in tact, but can be placed in many places.
EX:
1) http://www.domain.com <- vBulletin root http://www.domain.com/gallery http://gallery.domain.com
2) http://www.domain.com http://www.domain.com/forums <- vBulletin root http://www.domain.com/forums/gallery http://www.domain.com/gallery http://gallery.domain.com
You can also change the /gallery/ name. (EX: /photos/ )
- Ascii: php, js, html, css - anything that is a text file
- Binary: gif, jpg, png - any media file [all versions of upgrade]
Run the install script from your browser by going to: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
[ x ] Upgrade.
This script will make all necessary changes to your database, templates, phrases, and settings.
Once you have finished please remove vbgallery_install.php, product-ppvbgallery.xml in the forums/admincp folder.

| - Make sure you update your file paths in vbgallery settings and /gallery/gallery_config.php to reflect the forums new path.
Server change means /path/to/your/files changes. Also in your forums attachments, avatars, signatures if saved to system file must also be updated. (default is database)

There were a few files missing on upload.
- I edited and fixed 1 of the 3 skins for the gallery "Final MixHard" There were 3-4 templates you had some customs stuff done to.
$vba_options changed to $ppg_options and the skin came up.
- at first w/ the old code still in use many things were missing.
I forgot when I was in there.
- CHMOD -R recursively you will need change your gallery upload folder that stores the images to 777. On server move they change most of the time to read-only

hey there,
i´ve got the same problem as mixhard, i tried to upgrade from vbgallery 2.3 to version 2.4.2 while using vbulletin 3.6.8. After choosing [upgrade] i only get the photopost page with nothing on it (like in mixhards screenshot).
any ideas?
two other questions:
- is it possible to activate vbgallery in the vbulletin-navi by "settings", or do i have to embed the link "by hand"?
- why will the style-settings keep beeing ignored? i have multiple categories with differnet styles and they are all displayed with the default-style??
Link: http://forum.outdoorchannel.de/forum/gallery/
thanks.
