Problem with Category cache Update

Hello,

i have a Problem with my vB-Gallery...

I allowed my Users to add Categorys to the Gallery.

When a User add the Category, ist all Done, at the first glance!

When a User will now edit or so, the new added category from him, he get a php-error like this

Quote:

Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /homepages/*****/includes/functions_gallery.php on line 802

on the index-page from the gallery all categorys are gone, nothing to show here.

first when, i as admin ,goto admincp and start the Category cache update its all "normal", user can edit the added category and on the index all categorys shows correctly.

but only when i do manually the Category cache update in admincp, that's very annoying, what can i do - is there an fix or so?

after f5 on index (mainpage), now i can see cats again an can edit too the new user cat

u see the problem?

only when i as admin goto the admincp and hit "update category cache" it works, but when a user "normal" add a user-cat, this error comes...

is there any way to stop this? add a fuction, when user is sending a new cat oder make a cron-tab for every minute update gallery? have u any solutions for this?

I understand.
- I do not have problems with this.
- I think non English characters in username.

PM me some FTP / AdminCP access I will look at it.

PS: What vbGallery ? try this 1st if not 2.4+
Deleting a categories: Cache not update [added 2.4]

There was a hack or 2 that conflicted.
- did you find out what it was ?

hi,

no sorry - i installed step by step but the error doesnt come again ?! hmm

i have a other way now, me only can create user cats, when i create after this i click in admincp the update category button and then it works...
