Update problem

I just downloaded the latest version and followed Zach's directions, but when I choose Upgrade and click continue, I just get taken to a new page that doesn't say Upgrade Finished or Upgrade Succeeded or Anything. Is this the way that it's supposed to work? Was I supposed to upload all of the files, or just the ones that Zach mentioned?

Are you talking of 2.4.1 ?
What version are you using ?

2.4.2 with bug fixes is not out yet.

Yes, I just downloaded 2.4.1, extracted it and uploaded the files you said to upload in this post under File Changes.

This is the error that I'm now getting when I try to go to the Gallery:

I already tried to run the update script. I didn't remove the two files afterwords, but I just did now, and I'm still getting the database error when I try to go to the galleries.

The upgrade/update doesn't seem to happen though, because before when I tried to run it, when I clicked "Continue" all I got was an installation screen with no text.

I didn't do this though. Am I supposed to just put English in place of MASTER LANGUAGE? Would this cause my problem though? EDIT: Sorry, I think this was a stupid question because the location of the xml file was in do_not_upload, so obviously I didn't upload it

No that is a file for the phrases in the gallery.
