Using Skins

OK, I can not leave well enough alone. Next question!

I downloaded a skin from vbstyles.com. When I apply the skin I get the general structure in gallery but I am missing many of the icons / navbits. (i.e menu_open.gif, navbits_start.gif).

Are skins compatible or am I overlooking something again.

Thanks.

I can answer my own question!

In AdminCP / style manager goto the 3rd section down for Image paths and set up your full URL path for Miscellaneous Images Folder, Buttons Image Folder, etc to your site (ie 'http://www.yoursite.com/forums/images/skin_name/misc').

I cant seem to find this path, Ihave seen these settings before but I forgot where they are at so I have spent about 30 minutes search and I can't find my answer in this forums.

I run vbgallery 2.4.3 with vb 3.7

In your vbulletin styles manager view all style settings for the style in question and the third box of settings down in the overall style settings there are the relative image paths like this

images/skin_name/misc

You would change those relative paths to this

http://www.yoursite.com/forums/images/skin_name/misc

Thank you for the directions, is there some sort of cached copy of vbgallery? because I changed that and it did nothing. I went to lunch and a meeting then took a look and it was working just fine.

thanks Chuck
