| Blank page
Hi,
I have to say I'm disappointed at the level of supported offered by photopost, most of my questions haven't been answered and my forum has been down for a day now as a result.
I've followed the installation instructions for vbgallery 2.4 for vb 3.6x there are bits of those instructions missing. Now I have a blank page instead of a forum that I don't know how to fix, I'd appreciate some help please.
Mike

In your /gallery/gallery_config.php.new file that came with this script:
Open this file and find:
$forumpath = '/path/to/your/forums';
Add the full path to your forum on your server between the '' marks here. Save the file as gallery_config.php (removing the '.new' part from the end).
============================
In the script folder there are 2 folders.
- forums
- gallery
The content of the forums folder is uploaded to the root of your vBulletin install. The file structure of the upload will coincide with the vBulletin folder layout.
The gallery folder must also stay in tact, but can be placed in many places.
EX:
1) http://www.domain.com <- vBulletin root http://www.domain.com/gallery http://gallery.domain.com
2) http://www.domain.com http://www.domain.com/forums <- vBulletin root http://www.domain.com/forums/gallery http://www.domain.com/gallery http://gallery.domain.com
Now you can also change the /gallery/ name it could rename to /photos/ , but would best be done before install.
There are no file edits to the forum needed to install the gallery only on the /gallery/gallery_config.php file.
=======================
It's time to add the PhotoPost vBGallery settings and templates. Run the install script from your browser by going to Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
This script will make all necessary changes to your database and install the templates, phrases, settings, and etc for you. Once the script is done, go to your Admin CP and you will see a new group of options called "vBGallery" in the left frame. That is where you will modify the settings and set up your new Gallery.
Once you have finished please remove vbgallery_install.php, product-ppvbgallery.xml in the forums/admincp folder.
================================================
- If your still down shoot me some ftp / AdminCP access via PM I'll see whats up ill be happy to take a look.

Sorry for the delay. -8 PST
Your install was fine.
- The gallery_config.php file had an ending slash that needed to be removed.
- Your server is running in "safe mode", I have changed your file storage setting in the gallery to operate.
During the install there was a screen to input your URL's and correct PATH's and it submitted blank. I'll work up a field check on future versions.

I just noticed that my header banner here: www.banyuhattenaikido.co.uk which was different to the forum one has changed to the same as the forum one. Dod any of my image pathways get changed?

Nope, I'm using Vbadvanced for the front page, www.banyuhattenaikido.co.uk which should have a different banner header than the forums, currently the banner header for the forums is on the vbadvanced page and it wasn't before the install of vbgallery. Thats what the header template customisation is all about.

Only thing style wise that may have been changed would be:
- AdminCP => Styles & Templates => Select Style
-- Style Vars
-- Image Paths
vs. standard:
/images/buttons => http://www.website.com/forum/images/buttons
For each file that points to image folders.
As "vBa CMPS" did when it installed.
- If the style had the fulll url's on images they were skipped.

That fixed it but it changed the banner image in forum too. I'm asking over on vbadvanced to see if they've got anything there.

What images ?
Do you have a link to them on the server ?

I honestly can't remember exactly was a while back, but when you install vba the header navbits mess up and point to the wrong place, its easily fixed but I never did as it came in handy. This is the image I need in the forum: http://www.banyuhattenaikido.co.uk/f.../misc/logo.gif
This is the one I need in vBA: http://www.banyuhattenaikido.co.uk/i.../misc/logo.gif
I also need to be able to change the background image in the same way, which was easily enough done as they had diferrent pathways.

I redid the header template. Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
The link in Bold is the header image for the gallery.

Please also take note that:
Your custom style => Image Paths -> Title Image
- is set to: images/Mystyle/misc/logo.gif
In case you want to change another styles.
