Thumbnails show but Images are not showing

The images I upload have stopped showing.
Some show and some do not. Some uploads show, some do not.

The images that do not show.
- Are they on the server ?

What changes happened that might of started the problem ?

No recent changes, some files appear to upload and some don't.
All of the images are on the server.

I get png image errors at times, it was random apon install some time ago, I then re upgraded and the problem went away. Then it has returned.
