Posts Disappear

All of the posts on my forums disappeared after a successful upgrade. Also, my "Members Galleries" category will not go away after I moved all of the pictures from there to other categories, and deleted it manually through the adminpc.

BTW, I upgraded from Photopost Pro. Everything seemed fine for a couple of days, and all pics and posts transferred. Thanks!

An upgrade should not of removed comments / posts.

Did you transfer from Pro to vBGallery and all was fine ?
- did you also copy over the posts ?

Do you have a backup of the database (vBGallery tables) when all the posts were there ? (IE: ppgal_posts) The data can be restored.

Yes I upgraded from Photopost, and all seemed fine. Another strange thing is that it shows that there are 0 pics in each category, but if you click on each category, there are clearly pictures there.?.! I can reimport all of the pictures again, because I haven't deleted my Photopost gallery, but then I manually moved like 1000 pictures to get pictures out of the "Members Gallery" which took forever. Is there anyway to update the statistics so it at least looks like there are some pictures in each category?

AdminCP => vBGallery => Maintenance
- Update Category Counters
- Update User Counts
- Update Category Cache

I just did this and it gave a strange result. Now all of the pictures that I manually moved from the "Members Galleries" category into more appropriate categories reappeared in the "Members Galleries". All of the posts reappeared. It does say that there are 0 pictures in every category though.

Also, notice that since the move to vBgallery, I moved the category called "Mud and Water" under "Places you Have Gone". Now the category "Mud and Water" shows as a main category, as well as a subcategory to "Places you Have Gone" with all of the same pictures in each!

I scanned the database for "broken images" and 531 pictures are "not in the database". These include pictures that I recently uploaded after the upgrade, and after everything appeared functional, and moved around. How can I put these images in the database?

Yay! All Of My Image Categories Now Say "0" Images!!! And "0" Posts. So The Mess Has Gotten Worse.
