Are you running php in safe mode ?
Dose the image exceeded MAX upload setting of the server ?

What is being saved on the upload ?
- data and text entered on the image ?
- thumbnail or any image at all ?
- nothing

In my admin cp it states:

Server Type Linux
Safe Mode

So i presume it is running in safe mode?

The image doesn't exceed the max upload limit as well

And nothing is saved it just jumps to the message in my 1st post after attempting to upload the file

Ok with safe mode PHP enabled there is a setting in the gallery you can flip.
- vBGallery -> Maintenance
- Change File Storage Method
-- Set to OFF
