vbagallery 1.01 to vbgallery 1.1 (vb3.6) problems

Hi,

I currently have a database with an old installation of vbagallery 1.01 (from when it was not a photopost product) with vb3. I am doing an upgrade (no old files left) to the latest vb3.6 and got vb running.

Also I want to upgrade my gallery to the latest photopost vbgallery version.

First off I am a little confused seeing many people talking about version 2.1, 2.2... the only thing I can see in the members area is 1.1. What are those other version and how do I get them?

I followed installation instructions and wanted to start the install script. But besides several notices I can't get rid of this error:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Followed by the installation menu. Regardless which option I choose, the following admin login just shows up again and again - no further actions possible.

php display errors off makes the warning go away, but doesn't solve the login problem. Deleting cookies and different browsers also do not change anything.

Any hints for me?

Thx!

If you log into the members area for Photopost products like so here

http://www.photopost.com/members/members.pl

You will see vbgallery 2.3 for 3.6 and vbgallery 1.1 for vb 3.5 and vbgallery 1.02 for 3.0 series

You simply download version 2.3 and perform an upgrade

Hi,

actually I just see 1.1 for vb 3.5 and 1.02 for vb 3.0.

Maybe there is a license problem. Will have to check!

Good news I have an outdated version.. hopefully 2.3 does the trick.

Hello,

There were many changes in vBulletin from versions 3.x to 3.5x and 3.5x to 3.6x. There is also a version of vBGallery for each version. (3.0x, 3.5x, 3.6x).

vBGallery:
1.0 - 1.02 runs on vBulletin 3.x
1.11 runs on vBulletin 3.5x
2.0+ runs on vBulletin 3.6x

Take a look in the members area and look @ the bottom of the page under the 2 versions in their own table. 2.3 for vBulletin 3.6x should be there.
