Bug Report per Chuck S

Ok I was running VBGallery 2.1 just fine
VB 3.6.5 just fine
VBA CMPS 2.2 just fine

After upgrading VB to 3.6.7 and VBA CMPS to 3.0 RC1

I have 3 problems, one is with a hack so ignore that for now.

The other 2 are the following:

1) The member's random photos uploaded showing in their profile has disappeared.

2) The random photos showing below the list of forums on forumdisplay page have also disappeared.

I have tried the following:

1) Ran the install for 2.1 again and chose "upgrade" and it told me I was already on 2.1 so nothing happened
2) Ran the install for 2.1 and chose to update templates, etc., that executed did its thing but did not solve the problem.

Any help greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

BTW my site is www.caymanclub.net if you need admin access to tool around behind the scenes and check things just let me know, happy to oblige.

Two things to note.

Have you tried upgrading to 2.2 and in your vbgallery admin settings there is a section for plugins and both of those should be turned on if you want to display them on your forum

I have not tried upgrading to 2.2 yet because I didn't want to break anything with respect to VB Gallery which has been working fine in 2.1, what does 2.2 add/change?

As for the admin panels, the sections for the plugins are turned on as far as I know because they were working previously. I'll go see if I can find both of them, can you tell me exactly where you want me to look so I can confirm for you?

2.2 would not break anything in vbulletin it is the latest version for vbulletin 3.6 series and I know both of those blocks definately exist and work in vbgallery 2.2 as I just did a customer upgrade a few days ago so I doubt there is a bug which is why I noted to upgrade so we both are working with the same code.

I dont know what changes Zach made between 2.1 to 2.2 but always good to be running latest code in case he did fix some bugs

Not a problem just should be upload files run install and select upgrade and then go into admin panel and make sure plugins are marked on

Good news, I upgraded from 2.1 to 2.2 and so far everything seems to work and the random photos below the forumlist show up again as well as the random photos in the memberinfo user profile. Speaking of which, can those be moved, say lower down in the profile as opposed to being up near the top?

In another good note, the Random Image Module for VBA CMPS also now displays photos on the home page, although I need to tweak how they show up a little.

Looks like the upgrade to 2.2 fixed whatever the issues were. Many thanks!

BTW the instructions say:

LAST (if needed)
* Edit:
forums/includes/init.php

** Find:
require_once(CWD . '/includes/class_core.php');

*** Remove:
require_once(CWD . '/includes/functions_gallery_store.php');

Upload this file to /forums/includes

How do I know if I "need" to do that? I don't see any indication as such. ?? So I didn't do it.
