Blank pages in vB 3.6.7 Zachariah, please help!! After upgrading vBGallery 1.01 to 2.2 , I get a blank ForumHome. I was able to view the Portalpage for some time, now that is gone too... In the vBGallery ACP I can't access 'Modify Settings' nor 'Modify Addons' nor 'Category Permissions. I can open the rest though. 'Edit Categories' does not show entries while there should be plenty.... I had the team from vBulletin.com do the upgrade of vBulletin to 3.6.7. They told me: "Also, I moved all user uploaded content out of the dataase into the file system. This will help keep the database size and load down as your forum continues to grow. " Can this be the reason ? I'm really desperate and scared. Everything seems to be scrambled. |
Re-run the upgrade option in the gallery install file. - If all works OK there should not be an error. If the gallery is up and working but hacks have a problem. There have been many changes. - I would disable old hacks that access the gallery. This should fix errors and blank pages. There is a forumhome, profile integration built into the new version. What portal are you using ? |
I re-run the upgrade 3 times, without luck. I re-installed templates and phrases etc....I'm running a vB3.67. My original board is at http://www.cross-stitch-board.com. There were no problem with Photopost vBGallery. Now I had to move the board to another server because vB required a higher MySQL version. The (temporarily) URL is http://stroh3.dtr.eu. This will be switched back to cross-stitch-board.com after the upgrade is completed successfully. Zachariah, I would be glad to send you all data necessary to have a look into it. Your support is most appreciated. Thanks. Edit: I got the index-pages loading correctly. It was the Dynamic Forum Announcements Hack causing the problem. Unfortunately the Gallery Index is still blank. |
