| Gallery Turned Off??? http://www.civicforums.com/membersrides/
in the admincp it says the gallery is active, but on the actual page it says it is turned off and that permissions are not granted.
When I go to edit the permissions for that usergroup, (set all yes). When I go back to that page all permissions are still all "no".
Also, in the admincp Edit Category Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Category Permissions Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Validate New Images Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Validate New Post Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Looks like your missing some phrases.
What version of the gallery did you have ?
What has been done in the upgrade process ?
Have you insured that the correct gallery version has been uploaded ?
You can try and re - import the product from the gallery package.

The previous version was 1.0RC3
The upgrade process made it most of the way through, so I ran it again and it "seemed" to make it to the end. Still didn't work. The next time I tried upgrading it said I was at the newest version. In my ppgal_settings the gallery_version says 2.0, the version I was trying to install was 2.1.
The product import didn't work.

It sounds like a few things did not update during the last upgrade.
Shoot me a PM, I'll take a look how far it went.

Hi,
I have the exact same problem! Just upgraded to 2.3 (use 3.6.8) and it's set as Active but I'm told it's turned off.
Can someone help me with this?

Hi again,
A little bit more information about my problem:
I run 3.6.8 and just upgraded the gallery to 2.3 when I noticed the gallery was turned off when I tried to view it, even if it was turned on in the admincp. I have checked all usergroup and category permissions and all look OK.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
