Anyone know why I get this error message?

We just moved to a new dedicated server. The host did the actual move and everything works great, except one thing. I get this error every time I try to post a picture.

"An error occurred while attempting to create a folder for your files. If the problem persists, please notify the webmaster"

It sounds like permissions problem, which I have not been able to locate and it makes me wonder why it is trying to create a new folder in the first place since I am established user. Any ideas?

Check in your gallery options that after your move you corrected and have the correct server path to your gallery files and user directory. They also must be set to permissions 777

Thanks, Chuck, I did find a mistake (that I passed over several times) in the path. All is working as intended now.

Actually, I just found out last night that this didn't do the trick, at least not completely, although this could be a different problem.

I can upload pictures fine now, but everyone else gets a message that says:

Please CHMOD all sub folders also. If your FTP program will not do recursive directory changes you might try a trial version of SmartFTP.

Thanks, Zachariah. It appears that this problem was resolved, although I am not at all sure how. It just started working automagically...
