Navbar not working in the forums after upgrade.

I upgraded to the latest version of vb and vbgallery and now my navbar does not work in in the /gallery directory. This is the case on 2 of my sites.

All the links (search, new posts, faq) in the navbar pint to /gallery/whatever instead of /forums/gallery/whatever

I installed a fresh copy on one of my boards and did not have this problem. Only have the problem on the boards where I was already running a copy of vbgallery

How can I fix this?
Where can I open a support ticket?

Hello there are a few things that might have happened.

AdminCP => vBGallery => Modify Settings

- Header Replacements
- Navbar Replacements
- Footer Replacements

Here you may enter a list of filenames that may appear in your header / navbar / footer that should be prefixed with your Forum's URL.

Default:
- Header: BLANK
- Navbar:
  • memberlist.php
  • usercp.php
  • register.php
  • faq.php
  • calendar.php
  • search.php
  • login.php
  • forumdisplay.php
  • profile.php
  • private.php
  • subscription.php
  • member.php
  • online.php
- Footer:
  • archive
  • profile.php
  • sendmessage.php

This list is stored in the tables but also sits in the datastore cache. If that cache is empty you might fix this problem by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the setting page and hit SAVE.

If you have a custom skin / style that moved the $navbar to the top of your site in the $header you may need to copy | paste the file list of the navbar replacements to the header replacements and save again.

Thanks a ton for your time. Just hitting save solved my problem.
Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
Saved me the trouble of going in and manually hardcoding my url in the navbar! (would that slow down my site?? Just wondering)

There should not be a speed change either way. There may have been some other gallery settings blank and this could of paused operations or even shot up other errors.

Glad your up and going.
