Question Post count problem after 2.0 -> 2.1 upgrade

After I upgraded to 2.1, my users' total forum post count is no longer incremented by uploading pictures or replies. The ppicount and pppcount tables are in place and they do get incremented. These numbers just don't get added to the total forum count.

Am I missing something....what should I check to fix this?

Thanks!

ppicount and pppcount in the user table will store the current counts of image uploads and posts.

I have plans to add an "on/off" option in the gallery to show current counts in the "postbit / postbit_legacy" and "memberinfo".

Postbit:
$post[ppicount]
$post[pppcount]

Memberinfo:
$userinfo[ppicount]
$userinfo[pppcount]

Weren't those numbers previously added (pre 2.1) to each user's total forum post count? I least at thought there was an option for that.

What I'm looking for is Post Count = Forum Posts + pppcount + ppicount for everyplace that a Post Count can be displayed.

Yes that is how the gallery was set up in the past.
There were a few problems with that.

1) When Admins recounted their post count(s) all of the gallery stats for users of uploaded images and photos was removed.

2) With the counts merged there was no way with out more queries to the server to get image and/or post count per user.

I'll work on something that will sum up the 3 figures and search/replace the current value that is shown.

Do these variables currently work? Or they will in a future version?
If they do work it's a nice idea and I totally agree with you about this change.

If not, then don't you think that you released the new version too early?

This will work with template edits yes.

- With all the new template hooks. I'll whip up some plugins and gallery settings. Tagging for next version. Thanks for the bump
