Upgrading 1.0.1->2.0.0 DB Error

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.1:

Invalid SQL:
SELECT varname, value FROM vb1_ppgal_setting WHERE varname LIKE 'gallery%' OR varname LIKE 'global%';

MySQL Error : Table 'xx_forums.vb1_ppgal_setting' doesn't exist
Error Number : 1146

Upgraded vB from 3.5.4 to 3.6.1, No problem.
Upgraded vBaLinks 1.0.1 to 3.6 version No Problem
Started upgrade PPvbGallery from 1.0.1 to 2.0.0 Gold and above error appeared almost instant after selecting upgrade and the upgrade started.
Next try same error. Checking DB and no ppgal tables present.
Tried an install but got:

Invalid SQL:
INSERT INTO vb1_datastore VALUES ('gallery_c_cache', '', 0);

MySQL Error : Duplicate entry 'gallery_c_cache' for key 1
Error Number : 1062

Uninstall and reinstall worked ok but then I of course lost all my pictures.....

Any clue Zachariah why this happened?

The 1.0.1 version was the 1:st PP rebranded vBG from dec 2005.

I downloaded the package again and did a compare.
In vbgallery_install.php I see that you already found the error, line 2727,2733.
I must have downloaded just before you corrected it.
It was on a testboard so I will restore and try again. No harm done..

After restoring DB and upload vbgallery_install.php I repeated the upgrade sequence. The error is still there but this time rerunning upgrade fixed it.
Old vBg Cron jobs are not removed while upgrading.

Just download the install package from here again and upload vbgallery_install.php to your site again.
Rerun upgrade, I had to do it twice so there is still som bug there......

I just wanted to add that I downloaded the file today and had the same issue. Running upgrade the 2nd time got it working.

What was the old gallery version ?
