Folder permissions?

I just moved to a new hosting service and my folder permissions are no longer correct... I was not able to upload any photos.

I submitted a support ticket to the new host requesting a mass-change to the permissions on /gallery/files/all sub-folders to 777.

They strongly advise against doing this, I think for obvious reasons. What is the minimum permissions required for registered users to upload photos on these directories?

/gallery
/gallery/files
/gallery/files/subfolders
/gallery/images
/gallery/users

You should set all sub-folders to 777.

These folders are the folders that host the images that you uploaded before and where your users uploaded as well

Correct, only where you host your photos.

Default: /gallery/files
