What have I done - Database errors, unable to reinstall

Hi, after numerous permission problems on my ftp and probably due to my lack of web skills in general I seem to have made a mess of my photopost install and my forums.

Where I'm at now is I've uninstalled which worked, and then I've gone to reinstall from scratch. I click continue after the first section of the install seems to work but then I get "XML Error: unknown at Line 0" and install stops there. If I go into admincp I still see the vbagallery link on the left nav pane. So it still seems to be there.

It seems that the way I had my gallery linked into my forums prior to uninstall has caused my forum to go offline because the gallery is now missing.

Please advise some way to do a clean uninstall and reinstall which should work.

I had the old vbagallery version that worked with <3.5 versions, then upgraded to vbulletin 3.5 (yes I failed to see the easy upgrade template solution until I had stuffed everything) and I'm trying to install 1.1 with vbulletin 3.5

Is your forum reinstalled? do you have links to post?

I upgraded to vb 3.5 successfully, which is when the vbagallery broke. I haven't reinstalled it since then, I dont think it should be neccessary - I should be able to fix the gallery and it will come back.

- I re-import the XML file and uploaded a few php files that were @ zerro KB.
- Edited FORUMHOME template and removed the custom code used to display the images. (it is no longer needed)

The settings to control Forumhome, Profile add-on is located at:
AdminCP => vBGallery => Modify Add-Ons.
