Right now if someone uploads a file with the same image name, the file over writes the old one and we get broken images.

For instance, if there is an image uploaded as mike.jpg and another person uploads a mike.jpg, the old one gets broken.

We'll need a little more info about your setup - you didn't even mention which product you were using.

You'll also need to update your account with the email address for your license so that you show up as a "Verified User"; this is required for posting in the support forums.

well im not the owner of the account i am admin of the forum that rusn the technical side of things

The gallery should auto re-name and keep track of the name used.

Moving to the vbgallery product support forum. As Zachariah points out if you upload a file with the same name the gallery will rename the file so this should not be a problem. What version of the product are you using? Url to install and test login?

My suggestion is you upgrade because that is a version released before we obtained the software and we have released a few bug releases since then.
