Awol Images after switching hosts.

Hello all, hopefully someone else had thhis problem.

I just went through the fun of switching hosts and since the switch the gallery is not working right but I do not know what to look for.

vBGallery - 1.0.2 vbulletin 3.5.4.

Instead of pics showing there is the jpg frame showing in the gallery and when I click on the frame and check its properties I get this;

http://www.okanaganwatch.ca/gallery/images/file_jpg.gif

As far as I know all paths are right, I can see the pics sitting in the gallery/files section.

There are a few things to look at.
  • Make sure the "files" directory and sub-directories are CHMOD 777.
  • Take a look at your server settings and if it uses GD or Imagemagik. (adjust gallery settings as needed)
  • Do you know if the new server vs. the old uses PHP in safe mode ?
  • Try to rebuild thumbnails. log into - admincp/gallery/maintenance

I'm having the same problem. Moved servers and now the thumbnails won't come up. CHMOD is set, I rebuilt the thumbnails, it's using GD2 (I have another gallery on a different part of the site, uses GD2) and as for the php safe mode...how would I find that out?

You can look @ the phpinfo(); output of your webserver.
- Look for "safe_mode"

AdminCP => Maintenance => View PHP info

Or make a phpinfo.php in notepad.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Upload and run on your webserver.

Safe mode is off for both the local and master value.

You changed servers.
This will change the path location of the images also.

AdminCP => vBGallery => Modify Settings => Title, URL's, & Paths
- Files Path

If you are unsure of the new PATH.
DOCUMENT_ROOT from phpinfo(); will give you the root of your website.

Yeah, that's all set up correctly. Re-ran the counters and whatnot, still no go.
