Upload image blank

I have photopost vBGallery 1.0.2 set up on vBulletin 3.5.4. It worked fine, then we moved servers from a server with php version 5.x to 4.x. The config file and file paths are correct as they did not change. The file directory where the images are being set to are chmod to 777. But, whenever I upload a picture it just outputs a blank page and does not upload a photo.

In da420's case GD was not installed/enabled on the server.
