Massive DB Error Referring To Uninstalled vbaPP Gallery I'm getting this error when trying to add a hack to my site as a product. It refers to vba pp gallery and no idea what to do. vba gallery has been uninstalled as the forum topic has changed and so was going to start fresh will gallery when forum version final.. Quote:

Neal, The current version of vBGallery will not install or de-install from the vB 3.6 beta previews. Some of the coding methods, such as using phrasetypeid, has been replaced in the new vB 3.6 beta so any scripts that use those (in this case vBGallery uses it for both the install and uninstall scripts) won't run. Which hack are you trying to install? |
The IP Info hack for vb 3.6 beta 2 Can't install any hacks due to the above. No way of manually removing anything? Going to remove most of the post above, it's too big! |
First post edited after waiting 10 mins for the edit to load.... |
That IP Info hack is one of Zachariah's, right? If so then hopefully he'll poke his head in here as well. |
That's the one, just hope there's a way for me to manually remove the problem tables / phrases in the db or through the admin cp. Would like to add the IP hack and some other things. No hacks will install due to the vb gallery error. |
England, Just so I can follow whats up. Quote:
- If so there may be a few products / hacks installed that tap into the gallery that is still installed. Take a look in your product manager and disable / uninstall gallery add-ons. |
There are no plugins or products on the site, all removed via the plugin and product manager. I'll turn off the manager and see if that does anything. |
Nope, nothing installed and I get DB errors again when installing any hack which shows in the product manager but don't want to risk running them incase it causes errors. Same when uninstalling any hack, db error again but they are removed from what I can see. |
look in your Code: Content visible to verified customers only.Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
not there, new files and nothing altered. Removing all vba stuff manually from the db, loads of the shi....sugar |
all working now, hacks installing. It was all products relating to vba not just the gallery. Links had to be removed manually from DB too. |
