log problems when updated to 3.5.4

I have recently updated to vBulletin 3.5.4 but now my users r having problems logging into the gallery.
The gallery accepts there login, but doesnt actually log them in.

shoot me some access PM
- I have never seen this, it could be a simple setting.

could be because i have 2 forums installed on the same domain?

www.bluepearl-design.com/forums
www.bluepearl-design.com/vbulletin

U still got the same access from before ;)

Well if your integrating with one of those forums and say a user from your other forum is trying to use the gallery this can very well be your issue since your not integrated with that forum.

I have the cookies set to each path, "/forums/" & "/vbulletin" but only one of the installations is using the gallery.
Does the gallery script not use the same cookie path as the vbulletin installation it is installed on?

Are both forums accessed by the same people ?
- You may want to change the cookie on one to not conflict with the other.

Cookie:
- bb
- bb2

Other problems with cookies that I have experienced is the URL that the member uses.

On my site I force all users to browser to add the WWW even if they did not type it.

Also cookie path must be set to / if your gallery installation is outside the forums directory so a cookie is sitewide.

thx for your help this worked.

Because i had the Gallery outside of my forums directory and i had my cookies paths for each of my forums set as "/forums/" "/vbulletin/" my gallery didnt work.

I took your advice and made the cookies path "/' "/vbulletin" and everything works fine now ;)
