500 error after new install

New install which all seemed to go well but if I try and visit the URL I get 500 Internal Server Error, any ideas anybody?

Found the problem, I had not set permissions correctly. D'oh.

I'm vBulletin running 3.6.8 and when I re-installed vbGallery I got the dreaded 500 internal server error.

The problem: Gallery was CHMOD to 777 (as instructed). For some reason my host prefers 755.

When I CHMOD the gallery directory to 755, the problem was fixed. Just thought I'd share.

To my knowledge the install instructions specify the files and users directories should be 777. Gallery should be 755.
