| problem after upgrade
I have just renewed my license, downloaded the new version of VBA gallery and uploaded it to my site and i am getting this error when clicking thumbnails:
Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/pearl/public_html/forums/includes/functions_gallery.php on line 726
Here is a link with the error: http://www.bluepearl-design.com/gall...atid=newimages
Also on the main page of the gallery it no longer shows categorys.
Thanks

Griffin80,
Please wait 24 hours before bumping a thread.
Which version of PHP are you running, which version of vBulletin, and do you have any Gallery related hacks installed? Did you make sure that you downloaded the vB 3.5.x version and not the vB 3.0.x version? I'm assuming from your first post that the Gallery version is the vBGallery branded 1.0.1 version.

My cats r set to '2', where do i make these code changes?
Also my gallery admin page says this:
You are currently running vBadvanced Gallery v1.0.1 ( vB 3.5).
The latest version available is 1.0.1.
There is a newer version of vBadvanced Gallery available!
Please check vBadvanced.com for more info.
Is this normal?
i uploaded the new files to my sever, but it would not let me run the upgrade via admincp only re-install templates. If i ran the installation from scratch would this erase all my images?
Thanks for your help

24 hours before bumping your own thread... perfectly serious. That's the same policy as when Gallery was under the vBadvanced brand name as well.
The notice about an updated version is issue that is to be fixed in the next release. For additional information see this thread.
It wouldn't do the upgrade because it's comparing the version number "1.0.1 ( VB 3.5)" and that hasn't changed so it gives an error. After uploading the updated files you also want to select the option to re-install the phrases to updates the various references from "vBadvanced" to "PhotoPost".
The changes Chuck suggested would be to your /forums/includes/functions_gallery.php file at line 726.

Also when doing the upgrade untill 1.0.2 is put to public.
- Run the installer for the gallery and update your Templates / Phrases only.
