Install fails @ update images

Having a problem w/ PhotoPost vBGallery v1.0.1 (vB 3.5). It keeps failing @ the "Update your image paths" step... It's like it's timing out as it gives me a "The page cannot be displayed" error.

Any ideas?

Ok.. I'm getting this error on my server logs:

"Parent: child process exited with status 3221225477 -- Restarting"

I'm on Apache/2.0.55 (Win32) PHP/4.4.2

Any ideas on getting around this?

How many images (especially smilies & post icons) do you have? If you have a lot and are on a machine with not a whole of memory you may running out of memory.

The images are one of the last parts of the installation though should you should be able to skip around it. To be on the safe side re-run vbagallery_install.php and choose the various options (upgrade, re-install templates, re-install phrases, etc.) but don't do the graphics option. You then should see the Gallery settings in your ACP. If yes, then you'll need to manually update your graphic paths.

This is a clean install of vBulletin on a test server sitting in my office... So it's the default smilies, etc. that come w/ vBulletin. The gallery is installed and up and running, but even if I go and run just the update images options, it still bombs.

This is on a dual 800mhz Pentium III box w/ 1.5 GB of RAM. There's nothing else running on it and it's not under a load.
