Replace Image on Video Thumbs

I have a video gallery with my vBadvanced Gallery. Of course it does not generate thumbnails when I upload a video.

However, if I "Edit Image" after it's been posted, there is an option to Replace Image beside the Image Preview. When I submit the thumbnail, nothing is updated.

Is this feature available to video thumbs? Can anyone else verify this quirk?

That feature is not intended to allow thumbnails for videos. The purpose of the feature is something like the following scenario: An artist/designer uploads an image for critique & feedback and updates the image as they progress working on it; rather than create a new entry in the Gallery they are able to replace the image in their original upload.
