v1.0.1 = ?

Hi,

I'm about to upgrade my whole board to 3.5.2 from 3.5.0 but I have to say I'm confused .. I'm currently running vBadvanced Gallery v1.0.1 (vB 3.5), which version of PhotoPost vBGallery should I upgrade to?
I suppose I could do a clean installation, but I don't really fancy losing all those pictures.

You shouldn't lose anything. After going from 3.5.0 to 3.5.2 you may end up with a white screen when going into your gallery; if that happens just re-run the vbagallery_install.php file and choose the option to re-install only the templates.

Hi,

Ok. That's good news. But which version is the best to upgrade to first?

Not sure I'm following... there is only one version (version 1.0.1) of PhotoPost vBGallery available to the public. When you click on the License Info / Downloads link from the navbar above you'll see two options, one for downloading vBGallery 1.0.1 for vBulletin 3.0.x (which you don't want) and the option for downloading vBGallery 1.0.1 for vBulletin 3.5.x (which you do want).

I think what he's saying is that he's still running the vBadvanced version of the gallery. I was wondering what we need to do to upgrade from the vBadvanced version to the Photopost version myself as I've finally found some time to do it. Can't find anything in search. Wondering if I have to upload the whole thing again or if I can just upload the install file and reinstall the templates...? Are you guys still giving the 1 yr license extension? I just noticed about that too.....

Thanks

Edit: Nevermind, just noticed that I just have to reinstall the phrases with the new install script. Are you guys still giving the 1 yr license extension or did I miss out on that?

Arachnopets, as far as I know it's still good to go. Just follow the instructions in the link in my sig' to get the process started (it's manual so it make take a day or so).
