[img] tag doesn't appear to work..

On my forums at least, only the <img tag works.. the [img] one does not.

*edit* see, doesn't work here either.

I beleive the issue is your OLD vBGallery it is using a script link to the image which can not be used in the img tag. In the current code the true image url is used with img tag

You would need to download the vbgallery software and update your code

Your bbcode link is using displayimage.php not the true image path as it does on a default vBGallery install. I do not know if there is a hack or switch in vBGallery to allow this switch but I can tell you under vbulletin admin options you must set

ALLOW DYNAMIC IMAGE TAGS to YES in the image tag in VB admin options

Check your Gallery templates to see if any have been modified... there was a template hack a long time ago to display the <img> link (before it was a stock option) so perhaps there is a possibility you have some old edits yet.
