Will this delete current photos?

Rukas December 7th, 2005 08:36 AM

To answer my own question, no.

ConqSoft December 7th, 2005 11:05 AM

Nor will it overwrite any modifications you have made to any Gallery templates.

ncangler December 7th, 2005 11:45 PM

Worked perfectly. Thanks Zachariah!

OtAkU December 8th, 2005 08:28 PM

All that comes to mind is make all the templates / phrases /ect ... a filesystem like the other 3 Photopost products. Then use a few plugins. I still think there would be some issues, but a thought.

JLuerken December 9th, 2005 03:52 AM

We have to do this for the gallery but not for the links script.
WHY?

Could the gallery script be changed so that this is not needed anymore?
The link script is working fine after the upgrade without a change or template reinstallations.

Once Gallery is made into a vBulletin "Product", reinstalling the templates won't be necessary anymore.

It's because Links is a vBulletin Product, and Gallery is not. PhotoPost took over Gallery before Brian had converted it into a vBulletin product.

Never, from me. I don't work here.

pennylessz28 December 9th, 2005 05:13 PM

LMAO, great help guys.

Zachariah December 20th, 2005 02:09 PM

I'll work on a product for templates install.
- later perhaps the DEV's can add it in the package.

Y'know, when you come looking for an answer on a support site and..
IT'S RIGHT THERE!... Life is good...

Thank you Zachariah! You saved hours of head scratching and woe over having upgraded in the first place.

Also have this when running the MEMBERINFO template with vBGallery photos:

Warning: array_keys(): The first argument should be an array in /includes/functions_gallery.php on line 430

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /includes/functions_gallery.php on line 430

This is true whether MEMBERINFO is reverted or not.

Also: Warning: Division by zero in /includes/functions_gallery.php on line 1137

There was a hack you may have installed to the profile ?
- (A Better Profile (Spice things up like myspace)

It had a small add-on that showed images.

Re add the file edits.

oldengine February 24th, 2006 08:35 PM

Got it. I had come back here to clean up my mess.

The member.php file needed editing.
Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.
Someday, we'll get this upgrading problem under control.

Thanks!

Was having same problem after upgrading forums to 3.5.5 - reinstalling templates works like a charm. Thanks Zachariah!
