Just got vb 3.5.1

I must have picked the wrong time for an upgrade. I decided to upgrade to the new version of vbulletin today, and of courese my old version of vbGallery doesnt work and I can t seem to find where to download the new version of it. Or is it now photopost? Do I upgrade to vbGallery for 3.5 first and then to photopost???

Thanks in advance.

It will work. Just re-run the Gallery installer and choose the option to Install Templates Only.

Click on License Info / Downloads up on the menu bar. You'll need the login/password that was sent to you from PhotoPost. If you didn't get it, or if your address e-mail has changed since you purchased Gallery from vBadvanced, send an e-mail to sales@photopost.com explaining.

There are no file changes required for Gallery for 3.5.1.

Just run the install and choose the option to install Templates Only. UNLESS you're upgrading from a previous version (like 1.0.0 to 1.0.1). In that case, you would choose the Upgrade option from the installation menu.

Sydeburnz, were you previously using vB 3.0.x and upgraded to vB 3.5.1 or were you using vB 3.5.0 and upgraded to vB 3.5.1 recently?

If you're upgrading from Gallery 1.0.1 for vB 3.0.x to Gallery 1.0.1 for vB 3.5.1, then all you need to do is upload the new files, run the installation script, and choose Install Templates only.

If you're upgrading from Gallery 1.0.0 for vB 3.0.x to Gallery 1.0.1 for vB 3.5.1, then you need to upload the new files, run the installation script, and choose Upgrade.

thanks for the help guys, got it working now. got some issues with the core images not showing up (arrows, buttons, etc) and im guessing it is the same reason i cant get them to show up with the vbadvanced stuff too (cmps_index.php). any chance you know the answer??? right now i have the portal pointing to the old style to show the stuff, but im sure that is the dirty way of doing it.

thanks in advance.

On install / Upgrade you need to put Full URL's on your images.
- smiles
- icons
- all the images paths on the style

On install / update there is an option in the script to Update image paths.

Sydeburnz, try re-running either vbagallery_install.php or vbacmps_install.php and choose the option to update only your image paths. One of the last pages you see should be a screen to update your image paths.

If that doesn't work then go into your Style Manager and then update your "Image Paths" section so each is fully qualified. For example, if it says "images/misc" change it "http://www.yoursite.com/images/misc" and so forth.

^^^hmmm....tried that, only one page showed up and it was only the smileys. the images that appear broken are the main logo and some of the other forum type images like the drop down arrow, and those type of images. again, not the smileys. sorry if its a dumb question.
