Upgrading Gallery from 3 -> 3.5 without tables

Well we've upgraded from 3.07 to 3.5 and whilst the gallery files are okay, the relevent SQL tables have been dropped (not by me I should point out) and we're gallery template-less.

So... will it be possible to reinstall the gallery keeping the file system the way it was? If so, how?

If that isn't possible, what would the next best alternative be? Upload all the images under my name by FTP using the FTP interface thing?

Ideally I want to salvage catergory names and userids of image uploads. Permissions I can do again if needs be.

Ideas?

If you have a backup then you can just restore all of the adv_gallery_* tables. If not, then your next best bet is probably going to be to use the FTP upload options.

It turns out there were tables... I think...

But there aren't any more. But if I install the tables from the backup of the 3.0 version, will they make the 3.5 version work or are they incompatible?

The tables in the vB 3.5 version are the same as the ones in the vB 3.0 version, so they should work fine.
