Re: Problem uploading images

Admin CP => Maintenance => View PHP Info

What does it show for the 'safe_mode' setting listed under the 'PHP Core' section?

I am getting this same problem. But it happened after I went into the Gallery and maintenance and change my file storage method by clicking the option that said "Click the 'Change File Storage Method' button below to turn the safemode bypass Off." I did this before I realized that my safe mode was set to OFF.

So now my images are all stored with the "1-" in front of the name. How can I change this back to the way it was?

Is safe mode off on your server?

The tool to move image storage seems to work flawlessly so I dont think there is an issue there

Yes safe mode is off. As I said in the previous post now when the software looks for a image it is looking for the following:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
before it looked for:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
So it has something to do with when I changeed the file storage method

I just went and did this and I am still having the same problem.

The software is still trying to display the following image:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I looked in the file and the file is called "Picture206_thumb.jpg" but if you look at the url above it has a "1-Picture206_thumb.jpg" for a name.

before I change the file storage method in my ADMINCP - vBa Gallery - Maintenance - Change File Storage Method, it looked like this:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
So it has something to do with when I changeed the file storage method.

Maybe I need to change something in my data base tables. But I don't know what to do?

I think I might try and uninstalled and reinstall the gallery. I only have three photos in it at this time so it will not be a big lose right now.

You have about the same amount of photos I have in my test install. Yeah its work a try when you have nothing to lose.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and everything went well. It works like it is suppose to now. It was a test site I am putting together. The site is turned off and I have not gone public with it yet. I am getting ready to purchase a second license for it before I go public with it. That is why there are no photos in it yet. Thank you.
