Forum Navbar Link on Gallery Pages Broken!
 

Can someone please help? There have been several questions about the dynamic link to forums on the gallery page only not working after upgrade to 3.50 and gallery 1.0.1. Please check my post regarding this. I really need help asap to get this fixed. Thanks!

Edit the link and make sure you have the full URL to your forum.

Except the problem is not the link to the gallery. It's the link to the forums from the gallery page.

And changing the forum link isn't the answer because that link works from the vBadvanced page. Something happened with the gallery upgrade that is causing the gallery to append the homepage link incorrectly.

By default I didn't think there was a link in the navbar that lead to the forum index page unless you manually add a link leading to the forum index page yourself in the breadcrumbs/navbar template.

In which case you need to use the full URL becuase if you don't it will presume the index file is in the Gallery folder and not the forums folder. So you have to use the full URL to lead outside the Gallery folder seeing at it's a sub folder of the forum folder if I'm understanding you right.

or are you talking about when you click the vB Logo that is suposed to take you to the forum index page, in that cause you need to edit the main gallery index file and add the full url there to fix that. And not the navbar

This was a change to the navbar (dynamic links) so that when on the CMPS page there is a link to forums and gallery, when on the forums page there is a link to home and gallery, and when on the gallery page there is a link to home and forums. This navigation was working fine until I installed the new gallery and the problem is only with the links on the gallery page.

And others are having this problem.

Try changing those to the actual links (/gallery/index.php, /forum/index.php, etc) instead of using the variables.
