catagories not showing

I have 3 catagories that were working prior to the upgrade. Theye are still listed in the admin cp but I cannot get them to show up.

What have I forgotten?

Upgrade? It shows that you're running RC3. Did you just try to upgrade to 1.0.1? If so, it looks like you didn't follow the upgrade instructions or run the upgrade option in the install file.

Do you happen to know what version of the gallery you started with, and how many upgrades you've done? If you've done any, do you remember if you had any problems? That entry wasn't added until RC4, so there *shouldn't* be any way it would already be there unless perhaps you tried to upgrade before and had problems.

The RC3 version is the only one. I did the upgrade after I installed 3.5 and it didn't take.

If I uninstall, will I lose the database too?

I'm thinking of a fresh install but don't want to lose my pics.
