Cannot login to gallery if cookie path is set to /forums/

My Board URL is set to http://www.siteurl.com/forums
When installing vBulletin, I was offered 2 "suggested" cookie paths. / and /forums/ - I selected /forums/

However, I couldn't log in to the Gallery at all.
Is there anything that could be done to force the script in to reading the cookie from the /forums/ path if it has been selected? Not just for me but for other customers that could also have the same problem.. I've changed mine to / for the time being..

If you have it set to /forums/ then it's not going to be able to read the cookies unless you move your gallery folder into your fourms folder, or you leave the setting at /.
