login issues

Thought i did everything correctly on edits but I give up...

It seems that there is a login feature on the gallery page (when I am allready logged into the forums) and when I login again on gallery it kicks me back to the forum page. Then I go back to the gallery and I am not logged in again. Like a revolving door.

What did I mess up?

This was good until 3.5 upgrade and I did do the install feature of templates only. Should I do more?

Re: login issues

Make sure your gallery/files folder is chmod to 777. If that's not it, check with your host to see if your server is running in safe mode. If it is, use the 'Change File Storage Method' under the 'Maintenance' link.

Re: login issues

When I do this:
Click the 'Change File Storage Method' button below to turn the safemode bypass Off. and press "change filestorage method", it goes to another screen and just says page 1 of 1 and no other options.

I also have this edit now after attempting to upload a pic
"No Image specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

That's all the screen should do if you don't have any images. I'm not entirely sure why you would still be having a problem, but if you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.
