little problem with IPs

I think I remember reading that this problem had been fixed before.. but i cant find the thread anymore.

I have one image and one reply to this image... as an Admin I have an IP symbol and when going over it with my mouse i have the IP in the alt text... this works fine.. but when i click on the symbol I get:

The IP Address is: . The host name is: .

If it has been fixed for 1.01 (3.5) .. can someone indicate where to find it?

( I only found this thread... http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6840 some telling thanx to brian for fixing it.. but nowhere where and how it was fixed)

That should have been corrected after RC4. Make sure that you have not modified your 'thread_displayip' template or your gallery/moderate.php file. If neither of those are it and you would like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look.

i had never touched the gallery/moderate.php nor the template... but maybe a modification in showimage.php... though i dont think so because the link contains the "p=xx" so that is correct..

well i think i fixed it for myself.. at least it seems to work now..
i checked the variables and found that $postid was empty.. no matter what i did.. so i did the following:

in moderate.php i found:

Content visible to verified customers only.

and added right below:

Content visible to verified customers only.

I tried it on several posts and it seems to work now..

PS: maybe there is a more elegant way... and maybe its an issue that touches my installation only..
