watermark problem

permanent watermark works great...
but I have problems with the non - permanent watermark..

actually when i set the watermark options to
Permanently Watermark Images .... NO

there is a broken link...

the error seems to be when fetching the permissions in displayimage.php

when I rem out the line

// $categoryperms = fetch_category_perms($imageinfo['catid']);

it works fine... but that meens that the permissions dont work anymore

Re: watermark problem

I'm assuming you have your permissions set to allow people to view large images in that category? If so, could you please submit a support ticket so I can have a look at things?

Re: watermark problem

very strange....
just upped the files on redhat web server... and upped the database....
..... and.. everything is working fine

on my localhost apache on my computer.. the problem still persists..

the real webserver is running redhat, Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.3.9 mod_ssl/2.8.21 OpenSSL/0.9.7a

my localhost server is running Apache/1.3.23 (Win32) and no modules installed , php 4.33 and xp pro

very strange.. but in that case forget the ticket.. as i want to run it on the web and not on my pc...

but can server config have influence on permissions, if yes.. why just in that file...?

but as long as it works on the web out there.. its fine with me

Re: watermark problem

This is not a bump...
but i think i fixed the problem in displayimage.php
(at least for my configuration)

I found:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
and replaced with:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
then i found
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
and replaced with:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
the permissions work correctly now.. without me having to go to custum permission in the admin panel...

BUT.. the main problem remains..
the permissions are still not checked towards the end of the displayimage.php
...
i added the bit from the vb 3.08 (a little modified) that works fine...

i found:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
and added below:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
i'm still testing.. but for the moment.. its working again..

Luc

Test results: well the security is ok.. but the print_no_permission(); doesnt tell the user hes not allowed to.. (only disturbing when used in popup..

... havent tested yet what will happen if displayimage.php is used in ecard and the security settings are set to view card without restrictions.. no more time today...
