I've always had some issues with file paths
 

even using vb3 and CMPS 1.0.1/gallery 1.0.1 I'd have this happen..

you will be in the gallery and want to login, so, naturally you head up to the navbar and try it.

and when browsing through comments for images the links are broken for user ranks cause it's looking in gallery/images/ranks
and smilies gallery/images/smilies

is there a way to globally fix this so I stop seeing tons of 404 errors in my logs?

my forum is at /forum so I figured that'd be the normal arrangement?!?

For the login.php, that's what the Replacements section of CMPS/Gallery is for.

For ranks, unfortunately, vBulletin ONLY allows relative paths for them when you define them, so I don't know if there's a way around that. I notice that Ranks don't show up (even as broken images) when viewing the comments on my site, so I thought that they were just not included with the gallery postbit display. You're seeing broken images for those?

For smilies, you need to edit all the smilies and put the full paths. (Or re-run the CMPS/Gallery install script and choose the option to update the paths for you.)

yea, I've had red X's actually. and the smilies do the same sometimes. also when I add a new smiley in the forum. I have to copy it to the gallery or else I have red X problems again.

When you add the smiley, you need to edit it and put the full path.
