vBa Templates Gone When Upgrading vB

I upgraded from 3.5b4 to 3.5RC1 (the first upgrade I have done since having Gallery installed). And one thing that was kind of lame was it wiped out all the templates that Gallery added (thankfully it left the ones that were modified by be). So I had to reinstall the templates with the Gallery installer.

Is this normal behavior for vBulletin?

Run the Gallery install and choose the Install Templates option.

Yes, you will have to do this each time you upgrade vBulletin. Your customizations to any Gallery templates haven't been/won't be lost, however.

I know... that's what I did. I was mostly just wondering if that was normal for vBulletin or not (first upgrade I did since I had Gallery), so I just need to make a note to myself to do that whenever I update vBulletin.

Yes, this has always been the case with vBulletin. From what I understand though, they have added some stuff to the template table that will allow templates to be added to the master set without them being removed during a vB upgrade.
