Install Problem

Alright, having problems installing Gallery as well...same issue as this thread:

Basically when I click on install all I get is a blank white page. I have checked and double checked everything...I have no idea what the issue is.

I can tell you that when attempting to upload some of the gallery files I get this FTP error:

Also, the instructions say to cmod the /gallery/files folder to 777, however, there is no gallery/files there is a gallery/images though??

Create the files folder, then chmod it.

For the upload issue; don't know what to tell you. Try a different FTP app?

So we are supposed to create the files folder?

If that is the case, probably would be a good idea for them to add that to the instructions.

Once created, just CMOD that directory, not the complete Gallery directory right?

I suppose I can try another FTP program...never have had a problem with CuteFTP Pro before though.

I use Cuteftp Pro as well..

Sounds like user error to me..

I'm not sure why you would be having a problem with the install file, but if you'd like to submit a support ticket I'll be glad to take a look.
And thanks for pointing out that the files folder was missing from the package. I've just updated it to make sure that others don't have that problem.

I am thinking that there is something wrong with the files as I have used two different FTP programs and both have errors when uploading some of the files??
